Dr. Muayed Khalil Ibrahim Al-Maksousi is an Iraqi academic and researcher specializing in chemical and energy engineering. He currently serves as a lecturer in the Department of Energy Engineering at the College of Engineering, University of Baghdad. He earned his Bachelor’s, Master’s, and PhD degrees in Chemical Engineering from the same university.

Dr. Al-Maksousi has extensive experience in teaching and scientific research, with expertise in petrochemical industries, energy transfer, and renewable energy technologies. He has published more than 30 scientific works, including research papers, articles, and books in reputable international and local journals. His research interests also include nanomaterials, solar cell fabrication, environmental pollution studies, and advanced chemical processes.

In addition to his academic work, he has supervised numerous master’s and doctoral students and participated in more than 20 international and local scientific conferences. He is an active member of several professional organizations, including the Iraqi Engineers Association and the Iraqi Academics Syndicate. Dr. Al-Maksousi has also contributed to many administrative and scientific committees at the university level and serves as a reviewer and editorial board member for several international scientific journals.
