Short Biography

Majid Mohammed Abed is an Iraqi academic specializing in mathematics, particularly in the field of abstract algebra and group theory. He serves as a professor at the College of Education for Pure Sciences at the University of Anbar, Iraq. Over the course of his academic career, he has contributed to higher education through teaching, research, and academic supervision in advanced mathematical studies.
Dr. Abed earned his doctoral degree in mathematics from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM), where he focused on algebraic structures and theoretical mathematics. His research interests include group theory, algebraic systems, and related mathematical concepts, and he has published several scholarly papers in international academic journals.
In addition to his research contributions, he has played an active role in mentoring undergraduate and postgraduate students, encouraging scientific inquiry and mathematical thinking. Through his academic work and publications, he has helped strengthen mathematical research and education within Iraqi universities.
