Short Biography

Dr. Wafaa Raji Al-Fatlawi is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Applied Chemistry at the College of Applied Science, University of Technology, Iraq. She holds a Ph.D. in Chemistry, a Master’s degree in Chemistry, and a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from leading institutions in Iraq. Her academic career is marked by a strong commitment to both teaching and research, with a focus on analytical chemistry, nanomaterials, environmental chemistry, and the development of chemical sensors.

Dr. Al-Fatlawi has extensive experience in instructing undergraduate and postgraduate students, delivering courses in analytical, organic, and physical chemistry, as well as laboratory safety and techniques. She is actively engaged in research projects that address pressing environmental challenges and the application of green chemistry principles to sustainable chemical processes.

Her work has been published in peer-reviewed journals and presented at national and international conferences, reflecting her dedication to advancing scientific knowledge and fostering innovation. She is also a member of the Iraqi Chemical Society and other professional organizations, which enhances her collaborative and interdisciplinary approach. Fluent in both Arabic and English, Dr. Al-Fatlawi combines rigorous scientific expertise with effective communication, contributing significantly to the academic and research missions of her institution.
