Short Biography
Destiny Ososelase Oside is an MSc student in Chemical and Petrochemical Engineering at the Egypt-Japan University of Science and Technology under the TICAD-8 scholarship program. She graduated with a First-Class degree in Petroleum and Gas Engineering as the Best Graduating Student in her department and is passionate about sustainable enhanced oil recovery (EOR) research. Her work focuses on converting biomass from agricultural waste into useful EOR agents with the goal of increasing oil recovery efficiency while decreasing carbon emissions, thereby promoting sustainability, waste valorization, cleaner energy production, and low-cost EOR solutions, that support the current transition toward more sustainable industrial practices. Her research received first-place recognition at the Birla Carbon Egypt Sustainability Competition. She presented her work at TMREES26, where she also received the inaugural Best Edited Paper Award for scientific quality, clarity, and editorial contribution. Her research interests include reservoir engineering, sustainable energy, and pore-scale flow studies.
