María Victoria Correa Baeriswyl graduated from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile with a degree in Architecture. In 2013 she was awarded a doctorate in Preservation of Architectural Heritage by the Politecnico di Milano, Italy. The subject of her doctoral thesis was related to history of legislation in architectural heritage conservation in Chile.
She has worked on design, restoration and architectural regeneration projects. She has teaching experience at the university level about history, heritage and restoration, and has led theoretical courses and supervised architecture and master thesis.
