Haidari Yahia Hammod Hussain Al‑Ta’i is an Assistant Professor and Head of the Physics Department, born in Diyala in 1966. He earned a Bachelor’s degree in Physics in 1988, a Master’s degree in Laser Physics in 1992, and a PhD in Laser-Molecular Physics in 2006 from the University of Baghdad and the University of Technology. He has extensive experience in laser physics and optoelectronics, with numerous published scientific researches in laser systems, holography, and optical engineering. He contributed to the design and manufacture of advanced laser systems for industrial and scientific applications and participated in several local and international conferences. He also supervised many master’s and doctoral students and contributed to establishing the Computer Technology Engineering Department in Najaf in 2007.
