Short Biography
Prof. Amun Amri, ST, MT, PhD, is a Professor at the Department of Chemical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, University of Riau, and currently serves as the Coordinator of the Sustainable Engineering Doctoral Program at the Faculty of Engineering, University of Riau. He earned his undergraduate (1996) and master's degrees (2002) at Gadjah Mada University, Indonesia, and then 2013 earned his PhD in Chemical and Materials Engineering from Murdoch University, Australia.
His areas of expertise include chemical engineering and nanomaterials, specifically graphene, nanographite, lithium-ion batteries, geopolymer composites, metal oxides, and nanocellulose. Prof. Amun Amri has published dozens of Scopus-indexed scientific publications and actively leads various national and international research projects, particularly in the development of advanced materials and sustainable energy technologies. He also serves as a reviewer for various reputable international journals.
